lauren borgogna | director of operations

As the Director of Operations for the Speranza Foundation, Lauren oversees and maintains the foundation’s administrative systems, grant coordination, and communications platforms.

She is committed to engaging with work that empowers women and girls, and currently serves on the Advisory Council for World Vision’s Strong Women Strong World initiative where she contributes to the communications strategy.  

Prior to joining Speranza, Lauren worked in digital marketing and brand strategy.  Before that, she spent over a decade in tiny theaters, audition rooms and on occasion a medium sized stage singing and dancing her heart out.  She is a passionate supporter of artists who continually show up to create and she loves cheering them on.

Lauren received her bachelor’s in Communication and Theatre from the University of California San Diego, also completing coursework at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
