The Lincoln City Fellowship

The Lincoln City Fellowship is a nationwide residency that builds the creative capacity of professional artists through customized retreats, in person convenings, online community programming, and financial assistance.

The program serves artists from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds who are united by their drive to create, posture of curiosity, generous spirit, and artistic purpose.

Qualities of a Lincoln City Fellow

Fellows have a strong body of original creative work and are eager to expand their artistic depth alongside creative peers. Creating art is not a side hobby, it is an essential and prioritized aspect of each fellow's life.

Fellows have a desire to learn and develop their perspective through connecting and engaging with other people who may not believe all of the same things about the world, humanity, or any political, societal, or spiritual issue that can be named.

Fellows are eager to engage with the community of artists and co-create an experience of support and refuge within the cohort. They are enthusiastic to share their work and resources, while participating in group discussions with an open mind and heart.

Fellows have a deep sense of purpose and intention behind the work they create.  They are committed to artistic expression and have a desire to develop meaningful work in their specific discipline.

Past cohort and retreat participants are encouraged to join our ongoing in-person and virtual community events, designed to provide personalized support, foster continued connection with fellow artists, and promote artistic development throughout the year.
